… of course… the race to the midnight is funnest… where the cell wld vibrate at every single text received.

but no. it didn’t.

i removed my birthday off my facebook profile.

instead only a couple (… and i do mean 2) text me…

but it was sweet one of them had “count down timer” that came with every reply.

if you are reading this (i doubt) thank you. every text made me smile =]

i always predicted 20 wld be a year of depression.

it is true.

the morning started relatively emo.

just negative comments from people… including some from my ‘best friend’

(my ‘best friend’ didn’t mentioned anything abt my b day… guess he forgot abt it)

bitch.

the day didn’t get any better… i was denied entry at my gym… some computer bug apparently…

they noticed it was my birthday… but didn’t wish me anything.

they had cake at the counter. they didn’t offer it to me either.

bleh.

the workout was equally bad.

my max weights for a 12 rep set was 35% lighter… zzz

and the gym took away the 2.5kg and 1.25kg weight plates… boooooo! >.<

the only good thing was… that emo emo made me ran faster on the treadmill.. i did a new record 08:57 for my 2.4… two seconds faster then my previous record (months months ago).

oh and i lost 3 kg… severals months of mass and strength gaining efforts.

gone.

after gym i met some friends for dinner.

at a ‘well queued’ restaurant at mandrain gallery.

it was way over rated… the broth is ladened with flavour enhancers.

sucks.

toy museum was fun fun fun…

… national heritage board invited me to the halloween party at their toy museum =D

but i wasn’t in costume =(
…. i got a dinner appointment before that… so i cldn’t.

either way… like  museum events i had a hell lot of fun! =D

the museum is indeed very beautiful…. i like the museum for it is not just a museum but a destination by itself… there is a very beautiful winebar right up and and cafe that serves smashing food… all wrapped up in stunning architecture

the first thing that came to my find when i arrived was…. what a lovely place to bring ur date too…. i mean u cld bring her for a lovely dinner, breeze through the galleries that bring out the child in all of us…. and finish it off at the wine bar….  =]

that’s just an example of course… the possibilities are endless…

… another illustration of how singapore’s museums ’see different’… there are not build to be a standalone… but an integral part of our life… say dinner and drinks in this example…

on a separate note… the fungshui master said i wld live a lonely life in the near future… and i need a companion to complete me

… and i would need to depend on my own for the first few years of my life…

great. =/

on a more positive note… he thinks i will have an “overseas internship” after i graduate… woooooot!

… was listening to Norah Jones’ Seven Years

i was invited to a mid autumn celebration @ Hua Song Museum.. thanks to omy.sg and national heritage board =D

and it was super fun!

Hua Song Museum is within Haw Par Villa… and let me tell u a secret… i didn’t even know Haw Par VIlla was operational until Friday night…

like my good friend marco (who went to the celebration with me)…  we are both decedents from china… but our great grand parents decided to make this archipelago our new home…

[and from this museum i also learnt y... apparently.. if either of our great grand parents returned to the 'closed door' china they risk being beheaded]

the only difference is that marco’s ancestors decided to stay in indonesia while mine decided singapore was a cooler and more a happening place… wahhahah

the celebration was really cooooool…. nhb organized like food and activities for all of us… which was really nice of them…

though on regular nights it would most probably be less that… but the museum would still be a decent place to go..

WHY?!

cos’ the museum is not those  ’look @ artifacts’ kinda… but rather have this simulator approach where the museum is built to make u feel or at least interact with the past… this i think is unique  to Singapore’s museum (think in the lines of our national museum’s living gallery)… or it could be the government is not budgeting enough money to buy the artifacts

and that’s what i absolutely love about singapore’s museum…
they try really hard to make it a living place and you can interact with the stories & personality of the gallery’s.. and not just stay a distance and faint appreciation of something we do not feel the connection for

Pre-uni classmates… the meet-up

isn’t it strange how life throws pple who surrounds us… pple that we used to talk and chat everyday… become just memories that we re-live perhaps once every year or maybe every time where the game of chance places us within 1m of each other… haha…

perhaps the gathering i just had with my schoolmates were the same…

i mean don’t get me wrong… i think it is cool and all the we met up… but there is always this emo thought about it… about how everyones life is diverging ever so far… and it is amazing how our clique at school slowly melts in to just acquaintance… well perhaps not that dramatic… but still the idea…

I mean meeting my class mates were nothing but a sincere effort for all … but think about it… if we really meant so much to each other… y not meet on other non-”massive-meet-up for-a-catch-up-session” days…

perhaps it is time for sabby to change… perhaps he should make more effort in keeping close contact with all his former school mates… after all it is starting to get embarrassing to have pple who rmbr’d u… yet i have only vague memories of them…

it makes me seem proud… and i don’t like that about myself

Sabby’s Ranting: Mutual misinterpretation of each other actions…

haha… it would be kinda on topic to rant abt mutual interpretation since my class mates meet up we had  were the same classmates that studied history with me… cold war history to be exact…

hmm… was wondering over the topic while on the bus rides (yes i am poor modest) back from partying.. it is hard to put it in an thesis as those thoughts were fragmented but i wld try..

i was thinking whether we are overly suspicious of some that whatever they do.. we interpret in as it is made with evil intentions… some what like the cold war?

or perhaps even say a person with good intention can sometimes crash and burn if he in turn misinterpret others intent… and for this… it has a multiplier effect… affecting more pple… and more complex it gets the more bloody relationships will be…

and worst… who ever made the saying silence is golden is an idiot… (well in this case at least)

for silence is what makes pple not clear the what they have in their minds… or to reveal their actual chivalric intents… if they are even chivalric…

imagine if we could know the intend of everyone… that wld seriously be way cool…

we wld know who to make friends with and who to otherwise react…

and as an added bonus… who knows perhaps that eye candy u have actually has a crush on u too! haha…

wouldn’t that be a cool way to start working towards the human objective of world peace….

omgggggg it feels so weird blogging… haha.. it has been 5 weeks since i blog? (stupid time-sucking ns training #$^#$%^&%^&…)

there now resides this weird… how should i begin blogging vibe… lol

hmm… i think i would be photo blogging my partner-in-crime -> ervin!

… part reason is that i don’t much “concrete photos” to blog about stuff… still recovering from the lack of hair (pple say i look weird without uber short hair in my pics.. and i agree)… and learning how to cam whore again… in another words… i look fugly in alot of pics… haha…

and omg.. . of course it was the perfect excuse to get my white chocolate martini… OMG… the best martini… HAha… lalalala

oh and i also found a new awesome drink… REAL watermelon juice!… u still can feel the crystal like pulp… hahahah… yumyum

and though ervin claims to be on a diet he had fish and chips… LOL

… and thank god we got there… i got diarrhea when we reached so the ultra clean lavatories were the ultimate blessing… diarrhea was quite bad… that i decided to skip my green tea frap at starbucks….

sadly that was the start of me falling ill for the next several days… which today i am still recovering from… lol

i can’t believe i actually when thru 6 days with my watch the only form electronics i held…

hmm… but 2 weeks ago i did manage to drop by the singapore biennale exhibits…. yes like finally… lol

…. i never really liked the idea of ktv… haha.. i mean … like just look at the venue… haha.. is like some brothel… LOL… like cheap and tacky looking fittings and features..

BUT!!! it was so FUN can? haha… big compliments to jake… haha

… hmm… but ( as usual) jake was freakin’ LATE… haha… I thought me being an hour late was bad… try him… he was like 2.5 hrs late… like WTH…. haha

oh yeah… we even wore like tees of the same colour scheme… haha… not like just looking like (in jake words) like a tree… haha…

YES YES… KTV can also camwhore… haha

after… erm “paging” justin to leave… [cos' his aunt, uncle, cousin, brother, sister, father, mother, lover were at the information counter -LOL... private joke between the three of us...haha]

then after we when for dinner! at this korean place…. =

they even offered me STUDENT MEAL! HAHA! ~happy…
