toy museum was fun fun fun…

… national heritage board invited me to the halloween party at their toy museum =D

…. i got a dinner appointment before that… so i cldn’t.

either way… like  museum events i had a hell lot of fun! =D

the museum is indeed very beautiful…. i like the museum for it is not just a museum but a destination by itself… there is a very beautiful winebar right up and and cafe that serves smashing food… all wrapped up in stunning architecture

the first thing that came to my find when i arrived was…. what a lovely place to bring ur date too…. i mean u cld bring her for a lovely dinner, breeze through the galleries that bring out the child in all of us…. and finish it off at the wine bar….  =]

that’s just an example of course… the possibilities are endless…

… another illustration of how singapore’s museums ’see different’… there are not build to be a standalone… but an integral part of our life… say dinner and drinks in this example…

I attended my first LIVE magic show! wiiii

and of all places Jurong Bird PArk! LOL!!

LALALALALALALA

it was well… hmm magical! haha

it is kinda hard to describe a magic show… REALLY!

but it was spell binding… it was cool that they combine both dancing and birds to a magic show…

… i mean like so boring right if keep using rabbits right??.. wahahahha…

don’t believe that it was super awesome?!?! here’s evidence from my friend that came with me

yeahhhh! hahaha that’s evidence enough! hahaha

oh and the entire show was very very colourful… as colourful as the birds of the Jurong Bird Park…

and i am not talking just abt the colourful silk… the lighting and all made it all so colourful and special… and exciting!

the collaboration between jurong bird park and Priscilla Khong is really hmm… magical!

the show was indeed a very beautiful mash-up of magic show classics and the birds… very splendid…

even david copperfield can’t beat that combi! lol

but one thing made me really sad… the show was a one night only thing =/

i was really hoping to bring my other friends tooo! and watch it again! hahahaha

YES it was that GOOD!! =DD

what made the event that little bit special was jackvic (my friend that came with me) were part of the trick!

and get this even jackvic didn’t know how the trick was done after!!!

but i think we finally figured out how they did it over a cup of coffee… but we wldn’t tell

ohoh… and what was the trick? jackvic was cut in to half!! LOL!

… and as a reward for being a good sport… he was awarded a “street magic kit”!! =DD

the rant bit

For this entry [ -.-" ] = details not published because i don’t want my ass to be kicked by the official secret act

This would be my last entry before a new chapter of my national service opens where they would send me to [ -.-" ] for some massive physical training…

…. and training in [ -.-" ] entails me to be a life of a trainee which means i won’t have the luxury of booking out everyday…. sigh…

i would only be booking out every week or so… in another words they would (i think) give me less then 48 hours of ‘civilian life’ every week.

and honestly i don’t know how i could live thru that… and since this would continue for 3 mths… i really hope i can adapt my life…

i am so freakin’ stressed out… life as it is do not give enough money or breaks from NS to allow me to do the things i need to do…

i really tried all sorts of things to have more time for myself, parents, friends and hobbies…. like i stopped watching TV and playing computer games all together to ‘buy time’… but i am still tooo busy… that is said with exceptions where i wld become super bored for a day or two… haha…

so now with less then 48 hrs how am i gonna do it?!?!?! OMG…. i think i wld be scrapping thru…

also [ -.-" ] is know for their high regimental discipline… and i hope i don’t psychologically collapse there.. sigh…

.. perhaps loading janet’s album on my iPod wld help? lol~pun intended, though lame… haha!

oh and did i tell u that i wld be shaven  during the entire training period???? sigh! ~ life without my hair…

alright enough ranting about my NS and stuff…..

but oh… one more thing…

since the training wld be for 3 mths… this blog space wld see slower (much slower) updates

… i went for another appointment at Tan Tock Seng Hospital.. and that means i wld have my lunch at Novena! haha… the food there is pretty good and CHEAP….well not $2.50 kinda cheap… but reasonable prices….

• and its platinum… (though it is not a kinda sparkly card.)
• cames with a stack lot of coupons filled FREE stuff!

then i read the details and it got me really disappointed…..

• does not earn uni$ anymore
• does not come with NETS funtion
• … actually it looks kinda ugly….
• …. u have to pay an annual fee..

Like OMG… if there is no NETS function… like.. someone reminds me the point of having a local bank card!! and also no more uni$?!?! like NO?… gosh… i can only count how man y shopping spreed i had there were partially sponsored by uni$ vouchers! like….

no uni$ = no sponsored shopping spreed…. like wtf -.-

and GOSh… times like this i really wish UOB gave like customers a call to inform that of the change.. and like their opinion… and not like give u a surprise letter that says ur existing banking programme is being terminated and is replaced by a cut… that though give amazing privileges…. give sucky functionality… (except for the ezlink part)

well… anyway.. i think UOBank did a really bad move… i mean… i don’t even know what motivated me… but i just submitted for an application for a citibank a/c… it is like u are so agitated… that suddenly even citibank deposit looks attractive =/

… but apparently writing for that post turned out harder then i thought… haha!… i mean writing for how my hero wld be like is easy…. but the drawing and illustration part… was damn hard… like seriously… haha.. i know i know… some of u guys are pro with adobe’s creative suite… but .. for me its tough… but the prizes look hot…. well… when i sell the laptop.. and get the cash equivalent of it…then it wld look so hot! HHAHAHA!

well if you are still interested in my hero it wld be a teenager with a side kick ‘teleporter’… and the teenager is like the inventor of the teleporter and the teleporter can like teleport anything anywhere…

… and it cld ’save the day’ for singapore by teleporting ‘trouble’ away.. for example… if the MRT broke down… or overcrowded… it can teleport the huge mass of people away! haha!… to their destination of course… haha…. or cld teleport a broken vehicle on the expressway to the workshop… or fallen tress away…

and unlike other superheros in other story….the teenager with his teleporter are not rich billionaires… but rather the boy is self funded by selling ads space on the cube shaped teleporter … like on the teleporter surface…. we cld have like OLED displays that shows ADs say for GOOGLE MAPS… haha… for the accurate teleporting… or say INTEL INSIDE stickers!! haha….

and his secret lair wld be … hmm…. a room… among the concrete jungle of HDBs… HAHA!
